PURPOSE:To form a piezo-electric element flexible with an excellent piezo-electric property by having an organic high polymer filling a clearance between a piezo-electric ceramic device and the material arranged parallel to each other followed by a lengthwise polarization. CONSTITUTION:An angular bar of a piezo-electric ceramic with a composition as shown in general formula and an angular bar of a vinyl chloride resin with the same configuration are arranged in the same direction at a quantitive ratio of 1:4 and bundled at random sequence. An epoxy resin fills a clearance therebetween and then, hardened. Subsequently, an angular bar the same in the lengthwise direction as the piezo-electric ceramic bar is cut out. Both ends of the angular bar are coated with a normal temperature setting silver paste to make electrodes. Thereafter, a DC electric field is applied between the both electrodes of the element for polarization treatment. |
