The adjusting device for adjusting the height of a harrow fastened to a tractor vehicle has an adjusting spindle (1) which is screwed into a front guide tube (3) and which projects into a rear guide tube (8), the bearings (5, 12) for connecting the device to the frame as a fixed part and to the supporting roller as a movable part of the harrow being arranged on the two guide tubes (3, 8). Fastened to the guide tubes (3, 8) are tubular pieces (14, 15), in which is seated a rod (16), to which a stop (20) is fastened releasably. Clamped between the stop (20) and the front tubular piece (15) is a pressure-relief spring (21) which, depending on the setting of the ring (20) (spring tension), presses some of the harrow weight upwards and the supporting roller downwards. The crank (2) for adjusting the height of the harrow can then be rotated without difficulty. <IMAGE>
