PURPOSE:To automatically effect date-correcting operation, by providing a disc- shaped month cam which is intermittently rotated by 1/12 turn through advancing teeth provided on a date disc when the data numeral displayed in a display window changes from 28 to 29. CONSTITUTION:Teeth 11 are provided on the peripheral surface of a disc-shaped month cam 10 which is axially slidable and engaged with one teeth 12a of an advancing pinion 12. Through engagement of advancing teeth 13 provided on a date disc 1 with the other teeth 12b of the pinion 12, the month cam 10 is intermittently rotated by 1/12 turn per turn of the date disc 1. In this case, the advancing teeth 13 are provided at such a position that it rotates the month cam 10 by 1/12 turn through the advancing pinion 12 when the date numeral displayed in a display window 6 changes from 28 to 29. By providing such a rapid advancing mechanism, an accurate date display is performed at all times without the need for any date- correcting operation as in a conventional example. |
