PURPOSE:To form a flange section with a good sealing characteristic by molding it on a fluorine-contained resin blank tube with a hot melting fluorine-contained resin body being fed from outside while the tube is melted by heat at the tip thereof. CONSTITUTION:A core die 6 is inserted into a dividable cylindrical die 1 forming a large-diameter section 2 outside rather closer to the center from the tip of one end and the tip of the die 6 is brought into contact with an L-shaped section 7 formed at the tip of the die 1. Then, the die 6 is fixed with a bolt 8 screwed into a threaded section at the tip thereof. The, a fluorine-contained resin blank tube A is inserted into a clearance between the die 1 and the die 6 and the tip a of the tube A is positioned at the notch 3 for forming a circular flange made in the large- diameter section 2. Then, after the tip a of the elementary tube A is melted by heat, a hot melting fluorine-contained body B held in a pot 10 is pushed with a plunger piston 11 to fill the notch 3 via a through hole 4 in the large-diameter section 2. After the body B is fused at the tip of the tube A, it is cooled with a cooling water passing through a hollow section 9 of the die 6 to form a flange section b. |
