PURPOSE:To realize the working of a positive pressure plate having high accuracy, by forming the positive pressure generating region of a floating head slider through the sputtering technique, etc. with attachment of ceramics, etc. CONSTITUTION:A resist pattern 2 is formed at the area to be used as a negative pressure generating region on a slider base board 1 by a master pattern. Then a material 3 that is equal or extremely similar to the board 1 in terms of the michanical properties is stuck to the whole of a slider by the sputtering technique, etc. After this, the pattern 2 is deleted with the chemicals, etc. An aperture part 4 is provided to the negative pressure slider base board thus formed to adhere an electromagnetic converting element. In such a way, the positive pressure generating region of a slider is formed with attachment of ceramics, etc. Thus the regions excepting the positive region are used for the negative pressure generating regions. As a result, a negative pressure generating slider can be constituted in a simple and economical way. |
