Electrified enclosure to exclude snails and slugs - uses insulated wall with conductive strips along its length to deliver electric shock to those attempting to climb wall

The fence excludes snails and slugs from an enclosed area is made up of an electrically isolating material with metallic electrically conductive strips running along its length. The strips are connected to an electric supply and when a snail or slug attempts to climb the wall it receives an electric shock if it bridges two conductors. The walls (1) are mfd. from a plastics section (2) which has projecting clips (7,8) perpendicular to the section. The clips have a lip which allows the metallic strip (6) to be retained when it is forced into place by bending the projecting clips (7,8). Fittings are provided at the ends of each section to allow other sections to be fitted to form an enclosure.
