PURPOSE:To uphold the bottom of a nail of a jointing part, to prevent a rolled material from scratch flaws and seizure, and to roll form the aperture of the jointing part to an optional width, by providing a flange in the internal and external rollers for forming the jointing part of a U-shaped sheet pile, and by making these rollers independent of their shafts. CONSTITUTION:In a roller guide 20 for bending a nail 6 of a jointing part 26 during a finish rolling pass, internal and externsl rollers 35, 36 are provided with flanges 44, 52 which uphold the underside of the nail bottom 5, so that the nail bottom 5 is prevented from the generation of scratch flaws. Moreover, the nail bottom 5 swells out downward by an effect of tilting agnels alpha, beta, of flanges 44, 52 so that the nail bottom 5 is prevented from the generation of bucklings due to a rolling work. The roller's main bodies 39, 47 are made independent of roller shafts 37, 45 so that the rollers 35, 36 are permitted to rotate smoothly. During the rolling pass, the roll gap S is adjusted optionally adjusting the width (b) of the aperture of the jointing part within a range up to a gap Z of a final caliber roller. |
