EQUIPMENT FOR MAKING RESIN FILM BAG WITH SMALL TENSION

PURPOSE:To prevent possible elongation or the like with a less tensile force working on the sealing section by providing a vertically movable film support at the upstream of a film holder before and behind a heating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A tubular resin film 2 is intermittently withdrawn with a take off roller 9 and heat welded with a heating mechanism 7. In a bag making machine of such a type, a film holder 8 is provided before and after the heating mechanism 7 to work the film 2 at the heat welding thereof. A vertically movable film support 6 is provided on the upstream of the film holder 8 in such a manner as to move roughly vertical to the transfer surface of the blank film 2 for heat welding and return to the original position after the welding. This makes it possible to store the film by a necessary length for the subsequent pitch as slackened thereby reducing the tensile force working on the sealing section 13. Thus, elongation and distortioln readily generated in the sealing section 13 is prevented.
