PURPOSE:To avoid the defective bits that are caused after packaging a computer, by storing the changover information of the redundant bit into a static RAM. CONSTITUTION:The write/read signal is applied to an input terminal T of a static RAM5 comprising FFs in accordance with the address of a defective cell that is selected by a memory tester, etc. Thus the address of the redundant bit is stored in the RAM5. As a result, the redundunt bits can be switched in an easy and assured way at any moment after the test process, the shipmemt process, the incorporating of computer, etc. to obtain a storage device having high reliability. |
