PURPOSE:To improve the working environment of the marking field, and to save the manhour, by setting a photodetector upon a marking truck, by detecting a light- beam showing a marking position, and by stopping the truck at a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:When a steel sheet 2 stops at a prescribed position, a light-beam projector 1 is moved to a position which makes the cut-off amount minimum, while observing the shape of the fishtail of the steel sheet 2. Then a marking truck 4 is moved, a photodetector 5 detects the light-beam 3, and the truck 4 is stopped at a prescribed position finishing thereby the location of the truck 4. A marking pen 15 goes down onto the steel sheet 2, and transversely moves while scribing a marking line. By this constitution, a highly accurate locating mechanism becomes unnecessary, and a remote operation becomes practical. |
