The device has two radar channels and includes a horn (7) supplied by a waveguide (8) to form one channel with a radiating assembly in the horn providing a second or more channels. The assembly is formed by a radiator element (9) itself formed on a dielectric substrate plate (10) which is located in the median plane of the horn perpendicular to the polarising direction of waves radiated by the horn. The assembly radiates waves whose polarisation is transverse to that of the horn waves. The plate is typically 2.4mm thick and additional plates located symmetrically about the first plate may be provided with the elements photo engraved or otherwise formed on these plates are quarter wavelength wires or dipoles of half or full wavelength or flared radiant windows. The plates may be made of epoxy glass resin. The arrangement avoids masking normally caused by dipoles added to a horn radiator.
