PURPOSE:To calculate the minimum or maximum value in high speed, by encoding the magnitude of data in table to a shift register by only one time and storing the same, and obtaining the minimum or maximum value through the check of bit relation. CONSTITUTION:When one shot clock pulse signal is inputted to a shift register 17 and a counter 27, the count value of the counter 27 is changed to ''0'' and the stored data of the register 17 changes from ''011011-1'' to ''11011-10''. When the 2nd clock signal is inputted to the register 17 and the counter 27, a borrow signal is outputted from the counter 27. The gate of an AND circuit 19 is closed. Thus, when the 2nd shot clock signal is inputted to the register 17, the stored data is changed to ''1011- 100''. Thus, the bit corresponding to the minimum value of the register 17 is converted from ''1'' to ''0''. Further, the maximum value in the table 11 can be obtained similarly. |
