The invention relates to the field of motor-vehicle technology. The aim of the invention is to achieve a wide tilting angle of the driver's cab of commercial vehicles by using long, resilient torsion bars. The object of the invention consists in being able to use long torsion bars even with restricted installation space and in the process to make an additional bearing bracket for the torsion-bar ends unnecessary. The essence of the invention consists in that the torsion-bar ends are arranged very close to the swivel axis (3) of the driver's cab (1). The torsion bars (7) are passed through the inner web (9) of the frame-side bearing block (4) and are inserted positively and non-positively in the outer web (10) of the frame-side bearing block (4). The torsion-bar ends are arranged on the outer web (10) of the frame-side bearing block (4) such that they are freely supported in the longitudinal direction.
