Noise pulse suppression system for e.g. flow measurement appts. - uses summing transducer pulses only after min. number is received

The method of suppressing noise pulses is applicable to measurement equipment whose output signals are in the form of a series of pulses whose frequency depends on the measurement parameter and varies within a defined range. These may be flow measurement devices, and esp. Karman turbulence path type equipment. The method is applicable to suppression of noise pulses arising e.g. from press. transients occurring when valves are operated in pipe networks. The pulses froma measurement transducer are stored temporarily after the start of operation. The pulses are summed after a given number has been received. The threshold number is added during a pause in the pulse train. If no pulse arrives during a defined time interval the summer feed is interrupted and the temporary memory cleared.
