The apparatus for distributing liquid manure or other liquids over the soil or crops, has a sealed storage tank, from which the liquid is forced by an air compressor. The distributor nozzle (21) has a connection at the rear for supplying the liquid under pressure and a second connection for a branch line supplying additional air from the compressor. The nozzle has a tapered tip (20) along which the liquid (30) is discharged towards the small diameter outlet opening. The additional air is supplied by a tube with concentric sections (24,25,26) along the central axis of the nozzle. The outer tubes are shorter than the inner tube (26) in a stepped formation and deliver compressed air in concentric rings inside the film of liquid around the interior of the nozzle.
