PURPOSE:To improve the workability by inserting a resilient member having such shape as corresponding with that of the space section formed between an outer magnetic shield case and the cathode ray tube body into said space section while filling the remaining space section with hardening fluid. CONSTITUTION:A cathode ray tube 1 where the fixing of a filter 7 is completed is directed sownwardly, then while inserting a hole 9a of a resilient member 9 into a neck section 1b said member 9 is fitted to be fitted tightly on the outer face of a a funnel 1a. Then an outer magnetic shield case 4a is fitted from above and a resilient member 9 having the shape corresponding with that of the space section between the cathode ray tube body 1 and the outer shield case 4a is inserted into said space section 10. Thereafter silicon resin is filled in the remaining space section. Consequently the winding work of the form tape is eliminated resulting in the improvement of the workability and the prevention of the leakage of the resin. |
