PURPOSE:To prepare maltose dehydrogenase, by cultivating a microorganism, belonging to the genus Bacillus, and capable of producing the maltose dehydrogenase. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, belonging to the genus Bacillus, and capable of producing maltose dehydrogenase, e.g. Bacillus megaterium B-0779 strain (FERM-P No.5662), is inoculated into a nutrient culture medium and cultivated preferably by the submerged spinner culture method with aeration to give the aimed maltose dehydrogenase from the resultant culture. |
