<p>The vegetable oils, esp. soya oil, which are derived by extraction and miscellar distilln. are separated from slime by treatment with water and then separated from the soluble phosphates. Gas free water and oil are used and both steps are carried out in gas free condns. The appts. used consists of an oil pump which introduces the oil into the unit, a heat exchanger to bring the oil to the required temp. an oil meter and an attached oil regulator valve, a water pump which pumps the gas free water and a water meter and regulator valve. There is a premixing pump whose inlets are connected to the outlets of the oil and water regulator valves resp. and whose outlet is connected to a manometer and a mixer. There are connected containers behind the mixer each with a decorating valve and connected to one of the containers is a centrifugal. The appts. is completely closed.</p> |
