<p>Soln. of silver ammonia fluoride, Ag(NH3)2F, contg. 25-35% (as AgF) of the material, of pH 6.5-9.5 and pref. also contg. 1-2% NH4F as a stabiliser. The soln. is used for the prevention and treatment of dental diseases, including caries and hypersensitivity and is prepd. by reacting AgF with ammonia in aqs. soln. A horseshoe-shaped device for applying the soln. to the teeth is also described.</p> |
