<p>Display brightness is increased by the pigmented rear electrode in which the pigment is dispersed in a binder esp. of Cl-F resin. The pigment is prepared by wet homogenizing and drying 100g. of ZnO with 0.5-25g. (esp. 2.5g.) of a lithium halide and then firing this for three hrs. in an alumina crucible at 900-1100 degrees C (esp. 950 degrees C) followed by cooling, chloride free washing and drying. 100g. of the pigment is then mixed with 50g. of Cl-F resin and 50g. of butanol. After application the mixture is fired at 180 degrees C on to the electroluminescent layer.</p> |
