<p>The cutting unit comprises a rotating tool with a vertical axis driven by high frequency motor rotating at high speed and which takes up little space. The tool and motor are mounted on a support. The mobile system is maintained in the working position and an adequate pressure exerted on the tool when it is in contact with the weld by means of springs. The action of the tool is regulated by means of the sensor joined to the tool support, but of variable height. The cutting apparatus may be lifted by means of a lever and cam to change the tool.</p> |
