PURPOSE:The titled stabilized powder that is made by making a water-soluble antibiotic contained in a powder of a vegetable fibrous substance having water absorption or water retention properties, thus showing unchanged stability even after mixed with the breed and being produced inexpensively. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble antibiotic such as colistin, kanamycin, bacitracin or the like, or its salt is dissolved in water and a powder of vegetable fiber with water absorption or water retention properties such as a wood powder, a powder of stalks and leaves of plants, defatted rice bran, is dipped in the solution to effect the absorption of the antibiotic. Then, it is directly or after filtration, dried. The particle size of the stabilized powder is less than 42 mesh, preferably 48-250 mesh and the content of the antibiotic in the powder is preferably 0.1-55wt%. |
