<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of set torque and heighten durability, by using rollers as torque transmission members and energizing the rollers into fitting grooves with a cylindrical intermediate member. CONSTITUTION:When torque applied to a socket shaft 8 has exceeded a prescribed level, clutch rollers 4 in longitudinal holes 3 are pushed out of the longitudinal grooves 10 of the socket shaft 8 toward an outer intermediate member 18 against the indirect energizing forces of springs 30 to move toward being fitted in escape grooves 21 so that the intermediate member 18 secured to a main body 1 is rotated against the forces of the springs 30 until the escape grooves 21 become coincident with the longitudinal holes 3. After the coincidence, the clutch rollers 4 move out of the longitudinal grooves 10 and get fitted in the escape grooves 21 so that the main body 1 races and the socket shaft 8 is in the recesses 6 of the flange 10 of the main body 1 so that the intermediate member 18 is rotated relative to the main body 1 until the coincidence of the through holes 210 with the recesses 6 and then conjoined to the main body 1.</p> |
