PURPOSE:To minimize the influence of body magnetization by installing magnetic sensors in such a way that the detection reference axes of the magnetic sensors intersect orthogonally with respect to the magnetic lines of forces by the body magnetization of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:Mangetic sensors 1 are so installed that at the installation point P of the sensor 1 the plane inclusive of the two orthogonally intersecting reference axes 1x, 1y of the sensor 1 intersect orthogonally with the direction of the magnetic lines of force by the magnetization of a body 3, hence they form an angle of alpha with respect to horizon at the leading end point P of the bonnet and an angle of beta at the point Q in the rear part. The magnetic fields applied from the outside can be measured from the signals Ex, Ey obtained by amplifying the output signals ex, ey of the sensors 1 with amplifiers 20, 21. Thereby, the influence of the body magnetization is minimized. |
