PURPOSE:To measure the thicknes in cup surface bottom accurately and quickly by moving a contactor placed in contact with the cut surface within the plane inclusive of the supporting shaft of the contactor, and determining a minimal point then a minimal point within the plane intersecting orthogonally with this. CONSTITUTION:A spherical contactor 6 is placed in contact with the cut surface of an object 5 to be measured, is moved within the plane inclusive of the supporting shaft of the contactor 6 and is stopped at the point of the minimum read value of a dial meter 8. Then, the point indicating the minimum read value within the plane intersecting orthogonally with this is obtained. Thereby, the thickness is the cup surface bottom is measured accurately and quickly. |
