PURPOSE:To shape a sliding piece applied to a peripheral sliding face precisely in a captioned method by which a low-frictional sliding piece is applied to the peripheral sliding face by holding the material for the sliding piece between an upper and a lower mold and sending in unvulcanized material by pressure by an injection means. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing ring 5 is inserted into a reinforcing ring inserting part 11 of a lower mold 10, while a bull's-eye-shaped sliding piece material 19 of fluororesin is inserted from outside to a staged part 16 and laid on an annular flat face 15. Then, an upper mold 20 with unvulcanized elastic material 33 inserted in an injection cylinder 31 is placed, and the sliding piece material 19 is held between the annular flat face 15 and an annular small projection 24. Then, an injection piston 32 is pushed by sending the unvulcanized elastic material 33 in the injection cylinder 31 into a molding cavity 21 by pressure through a material injection hole 26. This process permits to shape an oil seal with a thin sliding piece 3 of fluororesin applied on the side of a peripheral sliding face 2. |
