PURPOSE:To prepare a heat-sensitive recording paper which is excellent in a mechanical apitude and has a high whiteness by a method wherein a heat-sensitive recording layer, including a colorless dyes and an organic acid, or a phenol compound and an inorganic pigment, and wollastonite and calcium silcate, is formed on a supporting product. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer, in which (D) wollastonite and calcium silicate are mixed in a recording layer including (A) a colorless dyes (example: trialylmethane dyes, fuloran dyes), (B) an organic acid or a phenol compound (example: bisphenol A and the like) which creats a coloring reaction resulting the thermal contact with a component A, and (C) an inorganic pigment (example: silicon oxide and the like) having an oil aborption amount of 80ml/100g or more, is applied on a supporting product (in an applying amount which is preferably 3-12g/m<2> in a dry weight) to obtain a heat-sensitive recording paper. A mixing amount is set at preferably 4-10pts.wt., based on 1 part a component A, of a component B, 10-60wt% of a component C in a recording layer, and a component D being 0.1- 300% of the component C. |
