<p>PURPOSE:To perform feed operation of sheets accurately by the constitution wherein the start of sheet feeding of a sheet feed means, regist means, etc. is controlled in mechaical cooperation with the movement of an original scanning system. CONSTITUTION:Two rows of grooves 161, 162 along the moving direction of an original platen are provided on the rear surface on the inner side of an original placing plate mounting member 141 by joining at their both end parts 163, 164 thereby constituting a groove part 16. A pin 17 is in engagement with said part 16. When the original platen moves up to an exposure start position, the pin 17 is in the position of the end part 163 of the part 16. When the original platen begins to move to start exposure and the deep groove part 165 of the groove 161 comes to the position of the pin 17, a lever 19 turns around a shaft 20 to turn a control lever 25 which in turn disengages a pawl 28 from a pawl wheel 39, and engages a pawl 29 with a pawl wheel 31. Then, a feed roller revolves and transfer paper is fed into the copying machine.</p> |
