PURPOSE:To make transmission with an R2 signal system, by using a simple constitution, by converting a connection signal of one-bit code into that of 2-bit, in an exchange system including an exchanger using E,M signal systems. CONSTITUTION:Exchangers 21,29 use conventional E,M signal systems, and PCM devices 24,26 are provided with signal conversion circuits 31,34 converting the code from 1-bit to 2-bit. M reads 22,28,E reads 23,27, trunks 30a-30n,35a-35n, transmission lines 25a,25b and multiplex separation selections 32,33 are provided. To transmit the connection signal in 2-bit code according to the R2 signal system of the Q421 of the CCIF recommendations, the conversion is made between the connection signals of one-bit code and two-bit code by the signal conversion circuits 31,34. |
