PURPOSE:To perform accurate picture processing, by accurately regulating the longitudinal direction of a digitalized video signal, through horizontal scanning of the digitalized analog signal, by taking a longitudinal straight line provided on a screen as the reference. CONSTITUTION:At a part of screen P of an output analog signal (a) of R1, a video signal a1 of a longitudinal line P1 is included. The output of a VTR1 is inputted to an A/D converter 2 and it is subjected to digital conversion and inputted to a memory 3. The signal (a) is inputted to a synchronizing separation circuit 4 and a longitudinal line detection circuit 5, a horizontal synchronizing signal a2 is separated and an output (b) is produced by keeping the signal a2 for a given time. In the circuit 5, the signal (a) is compared with the output value of a reference value output circuit 6 to detect the signal a1 and the output C is inputted to an A/D time determining timer circuit 7. An output signal (d) is applied to an A/D clock generating circuit 8 for a given time continuously and the clock signal outputted from the circuit 8 is applied to a converter 2 to accurately regulate the longitudinal direction at digitalization. |
