PURPOSE:To prepare an information recording member which is able to reproduce information into high contrast and high S/N ratio, and is excellent in a recording sensitivity by a method wherein a low virulent metal recording recording layer on a substrate is nipped with two mixture layers each consisting of a metal compound and a metal. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized layers 3 and 4 are formed as required, on a basis of a structure which is constituted such that a mixture layer 5, a low virulent metal recording layer 2, and a mixture layer 6 are laminated in order named above on a transparent substrate 1 (example: polymethylmetacrylate film and the like) having a transparency and being suited to a photowave property of a light source (example: semiconductor laser and the like) for recording information. The mixture layer is formed such that a metal compound and a metal (example: MgO-Au, Al2O3- Ge and the like), which form a mixture film, are formed preferably 50-800Angstrom thick by a mixture vacuum evaporating method. The low vivulent metal recording layer is constituted such that a low melting point metal, such as Bi, Sn, is formed preferably 200-600Angstrom thick by a vacuum evaporating method or other method. The stabilized layer is also formed as described above using SiO2, GeO2 and the like, and a high-molecular protection layer, such as polyester, is formed on an uppermost layer as required. |
