PROGRAMMABLE FREQUENCY DIVIDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the output frequency of desired frequency dividing ratio, by counting an input frequency, in a programmable frequency divider outputting the input frequency in a prescribed frequency dividing ratio. CONSTITUTION:An input frequency (a) is counted with a binary counter 13 and the count outputs (c)-(f) are applied to address buses A0-A3 of a read-only memory 14. Thus, a code corresponding to a frequency division data written in advance is written in an output data D0 of the memory 14 and outputted to a monostable multivibrator 15, allowing to obtain the output frequency with a desired frequency dividing ratio.
