PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunctioning of an electronic computer when a reset instruction is executed for the machine instruction that calls out a procedure instruction, by adding the control information that is set only by a procedure calling instruction to the return address information. CONSTITUTION:The return address information is transferred to a control information adder 3 via a register 2 and by a procedure calling information, and the control information is added by the adder 3 to be stored in a stack 6 via a register 5. For the procedure reset instruction, the data is transferred to a control information inspector 4 from the stack 6 via the register 5. The inspector 4 checks the presence or absence of the control information. If the control information is added, the return address information excluding the control information is set to the register 2. A processor 1 fetches the return address information from the register 2 to perform a resetting action. In case no control information is added, the internal interruption information is set to the register 2. Then the processor 1 fetches the information of the register 2 to carry out an internal interruption action. |
