PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the load of the users, by previously giving the identifying information which shows the number of editions and the series concerning the renewal of a program. CONSTITUTION:For the renewal of a program, a floppy disk (FPD) 10 storing the program to be renewed is connected to a CPU1, and the identifying information contained in the program is stored in a register 11 within the CPU1. Then the identifying information of the corresponding using program within a disk memory 3 is stored in a register 12. For the contents of both registers 11 and 12, the number of editions plus the identify of the series of the identifying information are compared with each other through a comparator 13. Then a renewing circuit 14 is driven if a coincidence is obtained for the conditions of renewal. Then the renewal program of the FPD10 and the contents of the register 11 are stored in a using program region 15 within the memory 3. |
