Two frequencies having a relatively low frequency difference are applied via electrodes to a zone of a body to be treated in interference current therapy. The frequencies are produced from a common oscillator of relatively high frequency by frequency division by two frequency dividers, the frequency division factor of one of which is adjustable. The adjustment of the frequency division factor can be achieved by using a programmable frequency divider, or by adding pulses to or omitting pulses from the pulses supplied to the frequency divider.
|
