PURPOSE:To improve a die utilizing efficiency and a bending work efficiency by reducing a die exchanging time, by selecting a segmental die, to be mounted on a bending machine, capable of a required bending work with data about bending products and information of segnmental dies inputting to a computor. CONSTITUTION:Die selecting information 5 and die arranging information 7, based on segmental-die information 3 stored in a computor 1 and inputted data, are drawn up. A numerical control for each automatic die exchanging device (ATC device) and a bending machine is performed with the aids of information 7 and information 9 by storig the bending information 9 into the computor 1 in order to arrange the dies for the bending work. Hereupon, the information 3 is a storage information of the kinds, length and rack positions of the dies stored in a rack of the ATC device; and the input data are all necessary contents for the work to be inputted to the computor 1, such as length, sheet thickness and number of products etc. |
