PURPOSE:To remove a gap produced between a holding part of the side of seat and a back panel of the seat, by a method wherein the back panel of the seat is followed to a movement of the said holding part, when it is moved to change the position. CONSTITUTION:The part 3 to hold the side of a seat is fitted to a side panel 1' of a back panel 1 of the seat. The panel 1 is formed of material tough and greatly flexible. The spring 2 is fixed to the panel 1 by a rivet 7. The bracket 9 is fixed to the back frame 8, and a side arm 5 is fixed to a pivot 10 which is pivotably inserted to a hole of the bracket 9. The spring 2 is formed so as usually to be in a position (b) as shown by a chained line, so that the side arm 5 is abutted against the spring 2 which is in the position ''b''. When the pivot 10 is pivoted, the side arm 5 is moved to push the spring 2, as a result, the side panel 1' is moved to a position (a). |
