<p>PURPOSE:To control output certainly even if a diaphragm is broken, by providing two diaphragms in a by-pass valve and connecting an airtight chamber between both diaphragms to a pressure detector. CONSTITUTION:Diaphragms 9a, 9b are placed side by side in a housing 11, and between both diaphragms is formed an airtight chamber 12, behind the diaphragms is formed pressure chamber 8 and before the diaphragms is formed an atmospheric pressure chamber 14. When high pressure affects the pressure chamber 8, the diaphragm 9a is pressed to open a by-pass valve 10 then exhaust gas of an engine 2 is exhausted through a by-pass 7. When the diaphragm 9a is broken, high pressure in the pressure room 8 affects the diaphragm 9b so that a rod 15 is advanced forward and the by-pass valve 10 is opened, then a part of exhaust gas is exhausted and simultaneously high pressure in the airtight room is led to a detector 17 through a duct 16 and an indicator (Figure omitted) operates to show a damage on diaphragm 9a.</p> |
