The valve has two mutually opposite, identically shaped plates (100, 102) which, after being assembled, are connected to one another on their inner side by a locked, segmental hub and are spaced apart at a predetermined distance by a spacer ring (120). The individual plates (100, 102) allow independent axial bending so that, despite changes in dimensions and in the angular position of the respective seating surfaces relative to one another, the outflow-side valve seat can perform its sealing function or adapt to the mating seating surface irrespective of these changes. The spacer ring (120) surrounds the segmental hub and has a considerably smaller diameter than the valve seating surfaces in order to increase the flexibility of the valve plates (100, 102). If, following repair work, the seating surfaces have been machined, the desired total width of the valve closing element can be reestablished by replacing the spacer ring. <IMAGE> |
