PURPOSE:To save man-hour to reverse a slag by grinding the upper and a side face by one machine. CONSTITUTION:The grinder head 51 swings around the swing shaft 65, 90 which is parallel to the axis of the rotation of the grinder 52 as well as around the reversing swing axis which is perpendicular to the rotating axis of the grinder 52, and is mounted on the swinging table 40 on the crosswisely moving car track moving left and right direction against movement of a slab to back and forth direction, to be vertically on the drawing. During grinding the upper surface, the grinder head 51 is swung so that grinder 52 contacts at an angle of 45 deg. against running direction of the slab 2, and at the same time it is swung around the reversing swing axis to contact with slab 2 at the periphery of the grinder 52. Grinder head 51 is made to be shifted by the crosswise moving car track as the slab 2 reciprocates. In case of grinding the side, the grinder 52 touches the side face of the slab with swing axis 65, 90 as well as the grinder head 51 is swung so that the grinder 52 touches the slab 2 vertically. |
