PURPOSE:To obtain a plate which has enough deposition strength and small scatter in the deposition strength locating the blades of a hot roller on the ditches provided on the depositione surface of a grid member, with a woven fabtic or the like made of fiber interposed between the roller and the grid member, and integrating the woven fabtic or the like to the grid member as deposit. CONSTITUTION:The deposition surface between a synthetic-resin grid member 3 and a woven or nonwoven fabric 6 is provided with, for example, V-form ditches 8. After the woven fabric 6 or the like is placed on the surface of a plate body 5, on which an active material is packed, the body 5 is inserted in a space formed between a pair of hot rollers 1, which face to one another and rotate in the direction indicated by the arrow; plural pairs of hot rollers 1 are placed. The hot roller 1 is placed so that the location of its blades 7 coincides with the location of the ditches 8 on the deposition surface of grid member 3, while those blades are moved with the fabric 6 interposed between the hot roller 1 and the grid member 3, thereby making the woven or nonwoven fabric 6 and the member 3 to be fused into a unified body on the synthetic resin grid member. By the means mentioned above, a plate which has sufficient deposition strength as well as small scatter in the deposition strength can be obtained. |
