<p>PURPOSE:To improve the working perperty of fitting and the reliability of a fitting section by forming the fitting section, in which ridges or projections are arranged along the length of the heat-shrinkable tube and which shapes a groove which can penetrate a thin cylindrical body into the center when the ridges or the projections are combined. CONSTITUTION:The half split type shrinkable tube 1 is formed by combining sections obtained by cutting off the ridges or the projections 3, 4 extending along the longitudinal direction so as to alternately shape an uneven form where the ridges or the projections face one another. The heat-shrinkable tube 1 is made of polyolefin, etc., and the roots of the ridge or the projection sections 3, 4 are tapered more than the nose sections when the ridge or the projection sections 3, 4 are combined. Accordingly, the groove 6 is shaped, the cylindrical body 5 in metal for fixing is penetrated into the groove 6 and the joining of the fitting section is completed. With the half split type heat-shrinkable tube obtained, the working property of fitting is excellent, and the reliability of the fitting section joined is also sufficient.</p> |
