<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the drag action of a brake at the time of its not braking operation, by forming back plates, transmitting pressing force of an actuator to pads, to double arrangement, providing a sloped surface and pushing out the pad toward a rotor side at the time of operation of the brake. CONSTITUTION:Between the first back plate 25 of a friction material 14 and an actuator (not shown), the second back plate 26, transmitting pressing force to the friction material 24, is slidably provided with the first back plate 25. Then in a side of the back plate 25 and the back plate 26, located at a face-to-face position to each other, there is provided a sloped surface 27 performing the action so as to push out the friction material 24 toward the side of a rotor (not shown) at the time of brake operation. There are further provided a stopper means 37 for controlling a moving amount of the friction material 24 and spring means 38 for resetting the pushed out friction material 24 to its original position. In this way, the drag action of a brake can be prevented at the time of not braking operation simultaneously the operation of the brake can be surely performed at the time of braking operation.</p> |
