PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor that no light fatigue is caused over the long period and high sensitivity usage is possible, by repeatedly and uniformly exposing and charging the photoreceptor provided with a photoconductive layer dispersing a prescribed photoconductive material to a binder resin, and executing a hysteresis processing to the same. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer obtained by dispersing a photoconductive material containing at least cadmium and selenium into binder resin is provided to a photoreceptor 6. The photoreceptor 6 is rotated at a high speed to perform uniform exposure plural times repeatedly through an optical eraser 7 and it is subjected to full exposure a corona charger 8 to execute a hysteresis applying treatment. Thus, the variation of photosensitivity of the photoreceptor 6 is stabilized at the initial stage. By the stabilization of photosensitive variation generated in high sensitivity state of the photoreceptor preceding the copying, a photoreceptor that no light fatigue is caused over the long period and high sensitivity usage is possible is obtained. Therefore, a stable and fine picture can be reproduced even when the light within the area of infrared-ray wavelength is used. |
