PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet for contact reflection printing of good contrast which does not form any dot image by providing a photosensitive layer contg. pigment particles having beforehand been stuck or adsorbed with a diazo compound and a binder on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The coating liquid wherein the diazo treated pigments 31 prepd. by putting pigments of about 0.1-100mu such as silica, ZnO or TiO2 in a soln. of a diazo compound (may be the one used for general diazo photosensitive paper) and filtering the same after thorough stirring followed by drying at low temp. are dispersed in a soln. of a binder 32 (polyvinyl alcohol or the like) and if necessary adders such as citric acid, urea, and the like are added for the purpose of improving stability and shelf life, is prepared. This coating liquid is coated on a substrate (polyester film or the like), whereby a photosensitive layer 3 is formed. The diazo treated pigments 31 are dispersed in the resin layer contg. couplers. An original is placed on the surface of the layer 3 of the photosensitive sheet obtained in this way in close contact therewith and is printed by the full surface exposure from the substrate side, whereby the superior images of sharp contrast are obtained. |
