The container for rubbish for use in a vehicle transporting people is characterised in that it is integrally incorporated within part of the interior of the vehicle. The container pref. comprises a vertical fixed shell (1) defining a recess out of which a movable part (2) can slide or pivot. The movable part (2) defines a compartment in which rubbish is collected. The compartment is pref. adapted to receive a bag for the rubbish.
