<p>Method for cleaning air drawn through e.g. paint spray booth or cotton beating machine by passing it through endless belts of filter cloths (or baffles) forming the floor or one wall of the chamber. Two or more belts travel in contact or in close proximity while air is being drawn through, being sepd. at a later stage, so that various methods of removing contaminants from belts, e.g. liquid spray, wash-baths, suction, may be applied to each belt individually. Belts may be of similar material or e.g. first belt may be of coarse cloth to remove cotton fibres, while second may be fine to remove dust. Belts may move at same speed, or advantageously, first may move faster.</p> |
