<p>A device for marking the eye cornea during a surgical operation comprises a casing (1) shaped as a bushing provided with a central opening (2), a sighting device (3) being mounted inside it, and plates which are located on one of the butt-ends of the bushing (2), are oriented in the planes perpendicular to the plane of the sighting device and are intended for being brought into contact with the eye cornea to be marked. The butt-end edges (9) of the plates (8) are curved whereas their thickness is such that when applying a given pressure the edges cause an elastic deformation of the eye cornea without destroying the latter. Reciprocal orientation of the plates is determined by the needed location of the cuts during the operation. </p> |
