<p>The protection element for seats or beds may have the shape of a cushion, a blanket, a mattress, a padding or the like and may be used for the seats, arm rests or backs of armchairs, motor vehicle seats or bicycle saddles. The protection element is provided with an outer envelope (3) which may be covered with an animal skin. Inside this envelope (3) is a foam coating (4) for a lining (6) enclosed in a moisture impervious envelope (5). This lining (6) is comprised of a liquid or pasty material, incompressible under the effect of pressure exerted by the weight of a human body or an animal. The protection element is particularly intended to be used as a cushion for a rolling chair or for a bed mattress because the pressure compensation provided on the whole resting surface of the body allows to avoid the formation of scabs. </p> |
