<p>A water sprinkler adapted to distribute water over an area in uniform manner which is other than circular. The sprinkler includes an annular outlet of constant width and achieves variation of distribution area by having water selectively directed into first a holding chamber and then the outlet so that the distribution variation is achieved by different pressure or velocity of water rather than direction. The sprinkler includes a resiliently secured deflector arranged to close upon the annular outlet at low pressure. The sprinkler is adapted to be used in a pop up configuration. </p> |
